BLOOD MOON

To grasp current events under God’s control, it’s important to understand the plan God put in place and communicated throughout Biblical history. If you’re fully versed in the lunar calendar and the 7 Feasts of God, you can just jump down to CONCLUSION at the end of this blog.

The Blood Moon prophecy is dependent on understanding the Seven Feasts of God and God’s lunar calendar: a full moon is bright and a new moon is dark. The moon is the basis of the Biblical calendar of 28 days per month, with a full moon and a new moon 14 days apart.

God ordained the 7 Feasts with specific detail in Leviticus 23. They are foundational laws for God’s people. Jesus fulfilled the first 3 feasts in the Old Testament. He became the spotless lamb sacrificed for our sins at Passover. He was the sinless, Unleavened Bread of Life, and was the First Fruit of all who will rise, becoming first in everything. On Pentecost in the Old Testament God gave us his law, the Ten Commandments, basic life rules. In the New Testament Jesus fulfilled Pentecost by sending the Holy Spirit, our helper; a comforter, one just like Jesus. John 14:25-26, Acts 1:8 and Acts 2:1-4. The Fall Feasts, the last 3 feasts, are now upon us like a heavy dew on a warm morning.

SPRING FEASTS – Jesus has already fulfilled these 3 Feasts

  • Passover
  • Unleavened Bread
  • First Fruits

PENTECOST – The Law was given on Pentecost in the Old Testament and The Holy Spirit was given on Pentecost in the New Testament.

FALL FEASTS – Jesus will fulfill these 3 Feasts

  • Rosh Hashanah
  • Yom Kippur
  • Sukkoth

The 5th Feast, the first of the Fall Feasts, is Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) and represents redemption. It is a two-day feast. This memorial of blowing trumpets occurred at the end of the fall harvest. At the sound of the trumpets, farmers dropped what they were doing and came from the fields to the temple to praise God for his abundant provisions. The Feast of Trumpets is also a prophetic type and refers to the future harvest of God’s people, called the Rapture. The great interval between the feasts of Pentecost and Trumpets represents time allowed for the work of the Holy Spirit.

“And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall you have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing trumpets, a holy convocation. You shall do no servile work therein, but you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord” Leviticus 23:23-24.

For several years people have said that Jesus could come back any day. I suppose that comes from Matthew 24:36, “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Surprise!

Surprise? But no, that isn’t the God we know who spoke to Ezekiel in Ezekiel chapter 33. God has warned us time after time and has provided details for these future events including the Raptures.

GOD’S WARNING

“The word of the Lord came to me. ‘Son of man, speak to your people and say to them, When I [God] bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their own head. Since they heard the sound of the trumpet but did not heed the warning, their blood will be on their own head. If they had heeded the warning, they would have saved themselves. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood. Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel, so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.’” Ezekiel 33:1-7

God doesn’t just jump out from behind the bushes and say, “Gotcha!” God not only left instructions that a watchman will be responsible to warn God’s people, but also specifically aligned the warning call to the time of the sound of the trumpet prior to the attack.  He goes on to say that if the watchman doesn’t do his job, the watchman himself will be held accountable for the loss of lives/souls.

This year’s Feast of Trumpets, Rosh Hashanah, begins the evening of September 22 and ends the evening of September 24, 2025. The Feast of Trumpets celebrated the harvest of crops in Biblical times; for the current generation it will celebrate the harvest of souls, gathering them to a safe hiding place as the Lord comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their sins. God’s timing isn’t a finite day or hour or even year, but a sliding scale reflecting the moral decay of his people.

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God has shown it to them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse because that when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections. For even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature, and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was fitting. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not seemly, being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful; who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” Romans 1:18-32

BLOOD MOONS, RAPTURE, ROSH HASHANAH

How are Blood Moons and New Moons connected to the Raptures and Rosh Hashanah?

1st RAPTURE – Isaiah 26:20-21 and Ezekiel 34:10-12

In prophecy, the Feast of Trumpets points us to the Rapture, which is God’s temporary and permanent protection of, and provision for, his people not only in the wilderness and in the Temple, but also the Lord’s shelter during the last 7 years of severe tribulation.

As the Tribulation battle begins, God will rescue his children and hide them in an amazing place he has prepared. God’s people will be plucked up apparently, perhaps into God’s house. There are strong indications from 2 Corinthians 12:2 that God’s home is in the third heaven, the Holy Mountain of God, Ezekiel 28:14. We are given a snippet of information in Ezekiel from his conversation with Lucifer before he was “let go”.

“Come, my people, enter into your chambers, and shut your doors about you. Hide yourself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation passes over. For, behold, the Lord comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. The earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” Isaiah 26:20-21.

“Thus said the Lord God: Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock. Neither shall the shepherds feed themselves anymore, for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them. As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered, so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.” Ezekiel 34:10-12

Blood Moon

This rescue, which appears to be the first Rapture, would need to come before Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets, in order for Jesus to fulfill this Feast. In 2025, the Blood Moon will be on September 7; Rosh Hashanah begins two weeks later on September 22-24.

“The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.” Joel 2:31. This verse differs from Acts 2:20 in that this one refers to the “Dreadful” Day of the Lord, beginning the terrifying period of Tribulation, while the second rapture reference, Acts 2:20 refers to the “Glorious” Day of the Lord, signifying the final victory over evil at the end of the Tribulation.

New Moon

This year the New Moon will be on September 21, a night of darkness just before the first day of Rosh Hashanah begins. Should the trumpet sound on or before Rosh Hashanah, Jesus will have fulfilled the 5th Feast of God.

SECOND RAPTURE – Isaiah 11:11

Blood Moon

The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. Acts 2:20.

For the second time, God will rescue his people.

“In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant of his people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt, from Cush, from Elam, from Babylonia, from Hamath and from the islands of the Mediterranean.” Isaiah 11:11.

God’s people who are alive at the 1st Rapture will live in a safe (awesome) place in God’s house during the 7 years’ tribulation, and then return to earth with Christ at the second Rapture for the final 1,000 years on earth, the Millennium. Those who accept Christ during the Tribulation will be raptured at the end of the Tribulation.

“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:17.

CHEMTRAILS
Are chemtrails mentioned in the Bible?

“Say unto the people of the land, ‘Thus said the Lord God of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and of the land of Israel (Jews and Christians), They shall eat their bread with anxiety, and drink their water with consternation, that her land may be desolate from all that is thereinbecause of the violence of all them that dwell therein. And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be desolate; and you shall know that I am the Lord.’”

“Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, ‘The vision that he sees is for many days to come, and he prophesies of the times that are far off. Therefore say unto them, ‘Thus said the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, said the Lord God.’” Ezekiel 12:19-20, 27-28

“The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the Lord has spoken this word. The earth mourns and fades away, the world languishes and fades away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore has the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.”Isaiah 24:3-6

WHY NOW?

“To me belongs vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste. For the Lord shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants when he sees that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left. And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted, which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? Let them rise up and help you, and be your protection. See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.” Deuteronomy 32:35-39

NEBUCHADNEZZAR’S DREAM

“And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the [end times] kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas you saw iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men, but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Forasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God has made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.” Daniel 2:42-45

It sure feels like our country is trying to merge clay and iron into a single government mindset.

CONCLUSION

So does the mystery remain? According to God’s word, a blood moon would need to occur before the dreadful day of the Lord, the first Rapture, in order for Christ to fulfill the Feast of Rosh Hashanah. In 2025 the Blood Moon will occur on September 7 and Rosh Hashanah will occur September 22-24. This puts 15 days between the full Blood Moon and Rosh Hashanah, a new moon festival. Interestingly enough, the Feast of Tabernacles is also known as the “coming home” feast and lasts for 7 days.

In addition, a blood moon would need to occur before the great and glorious day of the Lord, 7 years later, at the end of Tribulation. The next time a blood moon and Rosh Hashanah will occur together in the Fall, Rosh Hashanah will come first, occurring on September 5-7, 2032, and the blood moon will occur on October 18, 2032. There are 7 years between 2025 and 2032. Just enough time for 7 years of Tribulation. Coincidence?

“Gather together—yes, gather together, you shameless nation. Gather before judgment begins, before your time to repent is blown away like chaff. Act now, before the fierce fury of the Lord falls and the terrible day of the Lord’s anger begins. Seek the Lord, all who are humble, and follow his commands. Seek to do what is right and to live humbly. Perhaps even yet the Lord will protect you—protect you from his anger on that day of destruction.” Zephaniah 2:1-3. “Though the people of Israel are as numerous as the sand of the seashore, only a remnant will be saved. For the Lord will carry out his sentence upon the earth quickly and with finality.” Romans 9:28
